Once again, Chase said no when Nanaw asked if he wanted to go to the Science Center. But since Chase has lately been saying no to everything, she decided they would just go. When they got there, the parking lot was full so they parked out on the street, quite a long way from the Science Center. Chase was a brave little trooper walking such a long way in the heat. Chase's first stop was putting pennies down the centrifugal force machine. Then he went to look at the Mars Rover. Next, he played with the little cars on the track. The Grow area outside was his next stop. He said hello to the chickens but wouldn't go to the water area because he said it was too crowded. He wanted to go into the building so they did that for awhile until there were only four children at the water area, and then he would go out there. The Dinosaur Dig was the next stop, then the energy area where Chase spent time throwing the pretend coal into the pretend furnace. Chase fell asleep on the way home and took a short nap when he and Nanaw got home. He was very excited to see Uncle Mike later in the afternoon and spent some time with him. In the evening, Mama and Chase went to Joe's Pizza for dinner -- Daddy was golfing with Uncle Stan.
