Happy 4th of July! The adventure for 4th of July was going to see Cars 3 at the AMC Theater at Chesterfield Mall. Chase was very excited about it. Mama, Daddy, Chase, Alexander and Nanaw got there an hour early because Nanaw had looked up the times for Sunday. So they walked around Chesterfield Mall for an hour (and Mama did some shopping, of course). First, they went to a sports memorabilia store that was very interesting. They had autographed things from various baseball and hockey players. Mama bought a picture of Yadier Molina for Chase and a picture of Chris Carpenter for herself. In the candle store, Mama bought a candle that was on sale and felt very proud of herself for getting such a bargain. Everybody really liked the Cars 3 movie and the popcorn and candy. After the movie, Nanaw went home to take a nap -- she missed eating dinner with the family but ate hers when she returned to her house. Mama and Chase decided they didn't want to go see fireworks at the Legion Hall. Nanaw went to the hill by the entrance to her subdivision to watch the fireworks and they were spectacular.
