On Thursday morning, Chase and Nanaw straightened up for the cleaning lady before departing for their day's adventure at the Magic House. The cleaning lady arrived a few minutes early and Chase sat in the living room and talked to her while Nanaw finished up. She asked him where he was going and he told her the Magic House. She asked if she could go along, and he said sure. Nanaw was very proud of Chase being so friendly and outgoing instead of his usual shy self. At the Magic House, Chase chose which areas they were going to visit. First, they went to the crafts area, and Chase painted his first masterpiece there. They left it on a drying rack and picked it up on their way out. They went to several of the other crafts and to the musical color balls. Then Chase wanted to go outside and wade in the pond. Once again, his shorts got all wet but it didn't show as badly as last time. Next, they went downstairs and Chase played with the air balls. Then they went out into the construction zone, which Chase really loves. As usual, Chase didn't want to leave the Magic House but Nanaw told him that next week was Magic House Camp, and he'd be there five days in a row. After his night-night nap, Chase and Nanaw played baseball out in the front yard. While they were playing, Uncle Mike came to finish painting the corner in Nanaw's living room.
