On Tuesday, Nanaw planned for a trip to the Science Center but for some reason, Chase wanted to stay home so they did. Chase kept thinking of a lot of fun things to do with Nanaw so it was a busy day. First, they played again with the mega blocks in the living room. Nanaw left them out overnight, and when Mama dropped Chase off, she asked why he hadn't picked them up. Nanaw told her she'd planned for them to play with them the next day, which they did. After the mega blocks, they sat in Chase's room for breakfast and watching TV. Chase asked Nanaw for little baby chippies (that means corn flakes). Nanaw said they didn't have any but that there were Fruit Loops. Chase wanted them with milk (he eats little baby chippies without milk) so Nanaw had him sit at the counter in the kitchen where he ate and watched Chase-TV. Next, Chase and Nanaw went downstairs and played school for awhile, then Chase played with the trains and the dollhouses (don't tell his Daddy). In the afternoon, they got out paper, crayons, scissors, glue sticks, plastic eyes and pipe cleaners and made some fun crafts. Next, they had story time with I Am Skippy John Jones and Pete the Cat: Construction Destruction. Later, Chase had popcorn and watched TV while lying on his futon. He fell asleep at about 4:45 p.m., and Nanaw called Mama to make sure it would be all right to let him sleep till 5:30 and then bring him home -- which is what happened.
