Nanaw came home a little early from the little house so she could baby-sit with Chase while Daddy and Mama went to a visitation for Daddy's friend Betty's mother in Granite City. Mama told Nanaw that Chase had a good time Saturday evening at Cessie's play, High School Musical. She said Chase and Elias were fascinated with her Ice Breakers mints and kept asking for them. On Sunday, for awhile, Chase played in the living room with his Superman and Batman buildings, along with several other superhero figures. He played pretend games with them and talked in that high, squeaky voice he uses when he's playing pretend games. He and Nanaw were also watching the Cardinals' game on television. When the Cardinals won the game, Chase said to Nanaw, "Text that to Mama." So Nanaw did -- it was very cute of Chase to want to let his Mama know they'd won. After Mama and Daddy got home, Mama got ready to go to Auntie LaLa's house to spend the night. Daddy was going to grill hot dogs for Chase and himself. Monday morning, Daddy was going to bring Chase to Nanaw's house.
