Today was a sad day for Mama because her handsomest 13 year-old Himalayan cat Mufasa went to heaven. The picture of Mama and Mufasa is from 2002; the picture of McKinley, Mufasa and Sam is from 2011. Nanaw came over to Chase's house in the morning to visit. Chase, Daddy and Nanaw played a long game of kick in the kitchen. Chase played with his "motorcycle" and went various places on it -- the zoo and the "market" -- which is actually the kitchen. Chase and Nanaw also played with the toys in his room and with the paper bag puppets. Mama called Nanaw in the evening to tell her about their dinner adventure. They tried to go to Merz on Main but it was way too crowded so they adventurously went to a new place called Who Dats. Chase had a hot dog, applesauce and chips; Mama had a pulled pork sandwich; and Daddy had barbecued shrimp. For dessert, they shared a piece of gooey butter cake that Mama says was humongous and absolutely delicious. Mama had to hang up from the phone call with Nanaw because Chase was insisting on painting.
