Chase and Nanaw started out their day at Chase's house, waiting for the telephone man to come and fix the Internet. While they waited, they played with Chase's grocery store, played kick with the balls in the kitchen, played with his Thomas mega blocks and went downstairs to play with his Thomas trains. After the repairman came, Chase and Nanaw went to Powder Valley for the day's adventure. Chase was excited to see lots of children there and followed them around and talked to them -- very cute. He spent an unusually long time at the aquarium watching a turtle swimming with the fish. One of the Powder Valley workers fed the fish, and Chase was fascinated to see the turtle eating. The turtle kept swimming to the surface of the water to gobble down bits of shrimp floating there. Chase would call, "Go turtle, go." After leaving the Nature Center, Chase and Nanaw went for a walk on the short trail. Chase was delighted to run along the trail, finding acorns, playing in the leaves, climbing on the benches, looking into hollow logs and having a grand old time. In the afternoon, Uncle Mike came to cut Nanaw's grass, and Chase was happy to see him. Chase wanted to stay at Nanaw's house with Uncle Mike but Nanaw had to take him home to his Mama and Daddy.
