For Chase’s first Saturday adventure, Mama bought him a little car that he can drive. She saw it at a yard sale on her way home from the grocery store, and when Nanaw arrived for a visit, Mama and Nanaw went to buy the car for Chase. Chase was delighted with the car and excited to play with it. Daddy put Chase’s tool box in the back of the car, and they drove it to the back of the yard where the "broken"(not) wheelbarrow is located, so that Chase could "fix" it. "Fixing" the wheelbarrow is one of Chase’s favorite activities. He’s very much the "worker man," just like his cousin Robbie. In the afternoon, Chase, Mama and Daddy met Aunt Becca and Uncle Stan at their Dupo house to help them clean out the garage in preparation for their renters. Then Chase and Mama went to Aunt Becca’s and Uncle Stan’s new house for dinner, while Daddy went to church. Chase kept telling Mama that he wanted to go home and play with his new "truck." That made Mama very happy, to know that Chase liked the little car she’d bought for him.
