Chase had a busy day on Thursday. His first adventure was going to Tot Time with Miss Candy. Chase and Nanaw got to see the new roof over the slide area at the park next to the library. At Tot Time, Miss Candy had songs about Earth Day, and the children sang songs about the earth and bugs. For the craft, they made a caterpillar. Riley and her baby brother Ethan were there, and Ethan kept hugging Riley -- it was very cute. After Tot Time, Chase and Nanaw went to the reading room but couldn't stay long because they were going to Story Time at the Telegraph Road library. Miss Kim read several books, and the children sang songs and danced. Chase seemed to have a good time and was really well-behaved. The Story Time craft was making a "dance ribbon" out of crepe paper. After the kids made their dance ribbons, Miss Kim turned on music from "Frozen," and they all danced around the room. After Story Time, Chase and Nanaw went to Walmart where Nanaw bought some sand toys for Chase. Daddy brought sand over for Chase's turtle sandbox, and after his nap, Chase played for a little while in the sandbox. Of course, the didn't want to leave the sandbox to go home. Mama sent Nanaw a photo that the took of the skull sandals she bought for Chase -- they light up, and he really likes them.
