Today was an exciting day for Chase: He wore Jackson's Batman costume, including the cape. The costume was for today's Story Time program. Miss Kim asked the boys and girls to dress up in super hero outfits and princess dresses. In the morning, at first, Chase didn't want to wear the cape. Then, he liked it so much he didn't want to take it off. He wore it all day and only took it off for his nap. Chase's friend Riley was there, and she looked very pretty in her pink princess outfit. All the boys and girls received a free book, courtesy of the library foundation. The craft for the day was coloring dragons and then pasting them on ice cream sticks to make puppets. Chase enjoyed the glue stick part best of all, of course. After the library, Chase and Nanaw went to Powder Valley -- it was raining but Chase and Nanaw stayed dry under Nanaw's new Cardinals' umbrella. When Chase went home, Mama's friend from work Aunt Becky was still there (she's Taylor and Kole's mama, the kids and the cats). Chase was so cute with her, taking her to the back to see his sandbox and telling her all about it and about his monkey bars on the swing set. Then he took her in his room to show her his toys -- it was absolutely precious. Chase is very social and friendly and talkative -- just like his Mama.
