Chase's adventure for Tuesday was a visit to the Telegraph Road library. Before that adventure, Chase worked on his big Thomas the Train floor puzzle, while Nanaw watched in amazement as he put all the pieces together. It was cute to watch him refer to the lid of the box to check where the pieces belonged. Nanaw had no idea he could do puzzles like that and that he knew to check the picture on the box -- what fun! Chase and Nanaw played with his new megablocks and then went downstairs to play with his trains. At one point, Chase said that one of the trains fell into the river. So he got his train that has a crane on it and also Cranky the Crane to pull the train out of the river -- he has quite the imagination and problem-solving skills. Chase watched the movie 101 Dalmatians twice on Tuesday -- once in the morning and once in the afternoon. When Chase and Nanaw went to the library, Chase played with the games, the computer and the wall puzzles. Nanaw coaxed Chase out of the library with a promise of a bag of Ninja treats, and it worked quite well -- no crying or protests. Chase stayed late at Nanaw's house because Mama and Daddy had to go to a visitation in Troy, Missouri for the father of a friend of Aunt Becca's. The first picture below is one that Mama took Saturday of Chase helping her to bake chocolate chip cookies -- he loves to help Mama cook and bake.
