When Nanaw came to visit before going to the little house, Mama was giving Chase his bottle – or baba, as we call it. Before Nanaw visited, Daddy, Mama, Chase and Sam went for an early morning walk to avoid the heat. Chase’s adventure for the day was a family party at Grandma Pat’s and Aunt Patty’s house. Chase entertained the family by rolling around on the floor Sam stayed home because Mama thought he wasn’t feeling well. Later in the evening at home, Chase rolled around on the floor again and tried to get under the couch, which Mama took a picture of.

Chase and Nanaw went for a walk in his subdivision, using the jogging stroller. He seems to like the stroller because he can see more things. Chase and Nanaw went to Nanaw’s house for the morning, and Chase spent lots of time in the flying saucer. He’s learned to go forward now, not just backward. He’s also learned how to get himself out of being stuck – it’s fun to watch him maneuver himself around. Sam’s toy of the day is a white puppy that’s never been featured before. After a family dinner at Taco Bell, Mama and Nanaw went to a Jodi Picoult presentation at the St. Louis County Library, and Chase and Daddy had a father and son adventure evening.

Mama, Daddy, Sam and Chase took an early morning "constitutional" – as Mama calls it, because the temperature would be too hot tonight to walk, Then Chase and Nanaw took a long walk in his subdivision, so Chase had lots of walking today. After the walk, Sam, Chase and Nanaw spent time out at the Bistro at the WE Bar. Sam’s toy of the day was a pull rope toy that came with yesterday’s loofah toy Mama bought at Walmart on Tuesday.

Chase and Nanaw took a long walk in his subdivision. Then they went on an adventure to Walmart to get canned food for the kitties, because they’re having teeth problems that make it difficult to eat dry cat food. The next adventure was "Babygarten" at the Columbia Library. Only Carter was there but Chase seemed to like seeing him. Chase reached out and touched Carter’s shoulder and Carter then reached out and took Chase’s hand – it was very cute. Sam’s toy of the day was a loofah toy Mama bought at Walmart on Tuesday.

Mama took the day off today so that she could go to Laptime with Chase and Nanaw at the Telegraph Library. Unfortunately, Laptime was cancelled. But there were many other adventures for the three musketeers. First thing in the morning, Mama, Chase, Sam and Nanaw went for a 65-minute walk up to the park by the Columbia library. Later, they went to the Telegraph Road library, where Chase picked up his prize for reading 20 books in the Baby Book Club:  "Skippyjimmy Jon Colors."  Mama also picked out two Spot books and a Star Wars book for Nanaw to check out for Chase. After the library, they went to Penney's at South County Mall where Mama bought some clothes for herself and exchanged a Chase outfit for another outfit. Then they walked around the mall and stopped at Macy's so Nanaw could look at clothes there. Then they went to St. Louis Bread Company for lunch, then to Walmart. Mama and Daddy made chicken kabobs for dinner and invited Nanaw to join them. Mufasa and McKinley went to the vet, where McKinley got shaved. Mufasa had a tumor removed and we’re waiting to hear back about it and keeping him in our prayers.

Chase was in an especially happy, smiling mood today. He and Nanaw went for a walk in his subdivision first thing in the morning. Then they spent a couple of hours outside at the Bistro; Sam joined them and played with his new toy, Chester, which was today's toy of the day. Chase and Nanaw went to Nanaw's church to pick up the CD from yesterday's service so Nanaw could do the website. Back at home, Chase listened to the books Mama and Daddy recorded for him, and Nanaw read "Puppy" to him.

On Sunday, Uncle George and his family came to visit Chase. Nanaw sent Chase a picture of his kitties out at the little house and then also, later in the day, came to visit Chase.

On Saturday, Mama and Aunt Becca walked in the Susan Komen Race for the Cure, so nanaw didn’t ghet to see Mama when she stopped by on her way to the little house. But she did get to see baby Chase and Daddy, In the evening, Mama e-mailed Nanaw a photo of Chase eating bananas and watching Cars. Mama said Daddy was getting Chinese because Mama had enough calories to get it.

Chase spent the day at Nanaw’s house while Mama worked at home. Mama sent a picture of Chase in a frog outfit to aunt Monica because she’s afraid of frogs. At Nanaw’s house, Chase and Nanaw went for a walk in Nanaw’s subdivision. Then they went on an adventure to the Telegraph Road library and Walmart. They spent time out on Nanaw’s deck (also known as Nanaw’s Bistro). In the evening, Chase went to bully’s Restaurant in Marketplace with Mama, Daddy, Aunt Kristen and Uncle Chappie, and Chase fell asleep for awhile. When they got home, they spent time out at the WE Bar / Bistro, and Daddy let Chase hold a bottle of Bud Light. Bad Daddy!

Chase and Nanaw went for an early morning walk in Chase’s subdivision, then spent time in the Bistro / WE bar. In the evening, Mama sent Nanaw a photo of Chase looking like he's holding his own bottle -- but it's not happening yet, it just looks like it. Sam’s toy of the day is once again Stretch, the long puppy Mama bought for him at Marshalls at the beginning of April. (Nanaw held the puppy up to Mama and said "Please take me home." And Mama couldn’t resist).

Happy 6 months’ birthday to Chase! Chase spent the day at Nanaw’s house because Mama worked at home today instead of Tuesday, Chase and Nanaw went for a long walk in Nanaw’s subdivision and then spent time on Nanaw’s deck (also known as Nanaw’s Bistro). The big event of the day was attending Babygarten at the Columbia Library. Two other babies were there: Audrey and Carter. Chase seemed to enjoy looking at Carter and Audrey and hearing the songs and story. Chase and Nanaw plan to go to Babygarten every week. When Mama was finished with work, Mama, Chase and Nanaw took Mufasa and McKinley to the vet. Chase got to watch the two kittens in a cage in the waiting room and also watched three dogs that came in, along with two small children. He seems to really like watching cats, dogs and children. Nanaw came for an experimental dinner, then Chase got a bath. He’s been sleeping all night for the past five nights and Mama and Daddy are very happy about that.

First thing in the morning, Chase and Nanaw went for a walk. Chase spent a long time rolling and skootching on the living room floor – he’s very close to being able to crawl. Sam, Chase and Nanaw went out to the WE / Bistro for awhile. Sam selected his own toy of the day – the red devil loofah.

Chase and Nanaw went for a long, early-morning walk. Then they went over to Nanaw’s house to tidy up after the Father’s Day family dinner. Sam’s toy of the day is his ear of corn, because Mama says the Stuckmeyer corn store is now open.

Happy Fathers’ Day! Chase came to Nanaw’s house for the Father’s Day celebration. We had barbecued chicken and amazing burgers – Aunt Becky did the grilling so Uncle Mike didn’t work on Father’s Day. Baby Chase got to see his kitties, Kole and Taylor playing with the family. Chase had lots of people to hold him.

Nanaw stopped by to visit Chase on her way out to the little house. Chase and Daddy weere going out to visit Grandma Pat and Aunt Patty, Mama told Nanaw about Chase’s accident Friday night. He was buckled in the bouncy chair while Mama fixed hamburgers for the WE Bar dedication. Being a strong little fella, he managed to flip over the bouncy chair and end up underneath it. He was fine and unhurt but cried a lot.

They went for a long walk in Nanaw’s subdivision, the n Chase played in his flying saucer, moving himself around Nanaw’s kitchen, Chase watched his kitties when they came out to play. On Friday evening, Aunt Becca and Uncle Stan came for the dedication of the WE Bar.
