Chase got to wear his Affton American jersey to school today because it's Catholic School Week and today they're wearing red, white, and blue. Chase said Poppy and Jackson wore their Affton jerseys also. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, she wore his boots, and he laughed. She told him that she didn't really have any boots that worked on ice so she tried his on, and they fit. She asked Mama if she could have Chase's boots when he outgrew them, and Mama said yes. After school, Nanaw went out to get the trash can, and Chase went to the mailbox. He found some ice on the sidewalk and had a great time slipping and sliding on the ice. Besides the mail, he also brought in Nanaw's newspaper. On the drive home from school, Nanaw had asked Chase to do a clarinet concert for her when they got home but Chase said no, he wasn't in the mood. Nanaw said there would be no computer if there was no concert, and Chase said that was harsh. But after he slid around on the ice getting the mail, he was in a much better mood and agreed to give a concert for Nanaw and the guys. Nanaw set them up on the sofa, and they all enjoyed the concert.

Mama called Nanaw at about 6:15 Monday morning to tell her Chase had a snow day today because of the ice and snow flurries. She was going to bring Chase over at the regular time but Nanaw said she had a doctor's appointment at 10:15 so Mama was going to wait till after that. But the doctor's office canceled the appointment because of the weather. Nanaw decided to bake a cinnamon coffee cake for Mama before she got there with Chase. Mama was delighted. Nanaw also decided to bake a loaf of frozen bread for Chase, and she had him help get it ready. Unfortunately, the bread never rose so it was a failure although Chase ate a couple of pieces after Nanaw baked the unrisen bread. Nanaw made a list of activities for her and Chase on the snow day. First, Chase went outside and played snow hockey. Then he played on the computer for a while. Chase played hockey in the hall and played with his Nano guys. They made raspberry lemonade Kool-Aid, and Chase had a pizza lunchable for lunch. He was disappointed to miss lasagna for lunch at school but then they got a text from Mama saying lasagna had been moved to Wednesday so Chase was happy about that. Nanaw set up all the painting things on the kitchen counter, and Chase spent a lot of time painting. Chase did his AR; the only thing on the list that they didn't do was have the clarinet and piano concert. Chase said maybe they could do that tomorrow. Mama picked Chase up at 4:15; she was going to take him to hockey practice.

Chase and Daddy went to church on Sunday morning. Here are some of his friends that Chas said he saw: Jackson P., Owen and Sean. After church, Mama and Chase went to shoe Carnival to get a new pair of school shoes for Chase. Somehow, he got a big cut in the school shoes he's been wearing. He got some really cool-looking shoes. Mama said he also played basketball, his favorite thing to do at Shoe Carnival. After Shoe Carnival, Mama took Chase to Great Clips for a haircut. Mama made sure they did the correct haircut for Chase. When they were leaving, Chase looked in the mirror and said, "I look great!" Nanaw came to visit Chase in the afternoon. Chase played VR and Nanaw watched on her phone. She had a lot of trouble getting it to work on her phone but at least she got to see some of it. Tyler came downstairs to visit and sat on Nanaw's lap for a long time. One of Chase's friends from school sent Chase a message on Messenger Kids asking Chase if they could play Gorilla Tag at around 3 o'clock. After VR, Chase demonstrated his hockey skills to Nanaw, then he played Hoverboard hockey, Nanaw's favorite. Chase brought down some stuffed animals to play hockey -- the lemurs, Tee Tee and Creeper. Nanaw was happy to see them. It was a fun visit.

Chase had baseball practice on Saturday morning. Then Daddy dropped Chase off at Nanaw's house around 11. Chase headed straight for the computer in the computer lab. At one point, Roblox was down so Chase played on the tablet for a while. Nanaw brought Chase some snacks: potato chips, Hot Tamales, Tootsie Rolls, Junior Mints, a fudge stripe cookie, a thin mint cookie and a Dos-si-Dos. Plus his chocolate milk. Mama called to find out if for lunch Chase wanted to have the soup Nanaw had in her pantry or if he wanted Mama to bring over the leftover Pizza Hut pizza from last night's dinner. Of course, Chase voted for the pizza. Mama brought it over to Nanaw's house, along with the groceries she'd bought for Chase at Nanaw's house. Mama had scheduled Chase's Covid booster for 1:45 at Walgreen's. So a little before that, she came to pick Chase up. Both Mama and Nanaw were trying to reassure Chase about the shot. In the past, he really freaked out when it came time for the Covid shots. Mama said it wasn't as bad as the last time. In the evening, Mama volunteered at the Daddy/Daughter dance at Chase's school. Hunter called Chase to invite him to Power House. Power House has something for kids called Parents' Night Out. It lasts from 6 to 10, and they have bounce houses and other stuff for the kids to to play on. But Chase only stayed for about an hour because some of the kids were being mean and knocking their stuff over.

When Nanaw picked Chase up from school on Friday he told her that he wasn't going to get a grade on his essay because he had forgotten to take it home and have his parents proofread it. He still had to have someone proofread it so he could turn it in on Monday. So Nanaw proofread his written version and didn't find any mistakes. It was a wonderful essay. Then she proofread the typed version, and there weren't any mistakes on it, either. It was interesting that Chase made quite a few changes to the typed version from the written one but both were good. Mama and Nanaw are going to try to be more vigilant about checking Homework Central for reminders about what Chase is supposed to be bringing home for homework or studying for tests. They've also both insisted that Chase must write all assignments in his agenda, without fail. We'll see how that goes. Chase had baseball practice tonight, and Daddy picked him up from Nanaw's house at 4:30 today. The third picture below is Chase in the background skating in PE class. His teacher said, "Look at Chase go!" Chase told her he knew how to skate from playing ice hockey. The fourth picture is from Mama because Nanaw was having trouble getting good smiles from Chase for his pictures.

Chase has a math test tomorrow s he brought home his math book and papers to study. Nanaw copied problems from yesterday's homework for him to do again. She also had him do the study guide problems again, plus the extra credit page. She made copies of the pages for Mama so she could study with Chase tonight. Unfortunately, Chase forgot to bring home the essay for English; he was supposed to have his parents proofread it, and it's due tomorrow. Chase said he forgot to write it in his agenda; he promised from now on to write all homework, assignments and tests in his agenda like he's supposed to be doing. Nanaw hadn’t looked at Homework Central before she picked Chase up from school. If she had, she might have asked Chase if he had the essay; she could have sent him back into the school to get it. Nanaw always intends to look at Homework Central so she can ask Chase if he has the papers, etc. he needs but, unfortunately, sometimes she forgets. So she and Chase both need to do better.

Chase had a snow day on Wednesday! Mama had Nanaw sleep in and didn’t bring Chase over to Nanaw's house till about 9. Right away, Chase set up the hockey nets in the hall, and Chase and Nanaw played hockey for a while. Then Chase played on the computer. At noon, they played restaurant with the guys and with Chase's play food and pizza he brought from home. It was grand fun. They had credit cards for the guys and menus and bills. Chase and Nanaw love playing restaurant. For lunch, Chase had chicken nuggets TV dinner. In the afternoon, they played hockey again. They set up pillows to keep the hockey ball from falling downstairs or into the living room. For a while, Chase practiced hitting the hockey ball by himself. Chase brought his boots and snow pants with him but decided not to go out and play in the snow because most of it had melted. He also brought his tablet and headphones with him and played on the tablet for a while. At 2 p.m., Chase and Nanaw had school. Nanaw tried to help Chase with his Weekly Writing but it didn't go as well as Nanaw hoped it would, The idea was that Nanaw would help Chase think through what he wanted to write and make notes about it so then Chase could write it. Nanaw thought that's what Mama does with Chase but Chase didn't participate much. Chase said he wanted to do it with Mama so Nanaw had Mama help Chase with his writing in the evening. Nanaw forgot to ask Mama how it went so she'll ask her tomorrow.

When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he told her he had lots of homework. He said he had math, science, history, reading and English. He finished the math first. Nanaw checked over it and found several incorrect problems. Nanaw went over the problems with Chase, and he corrected them. Nanaw is going to teach Chase to use his calculator to check his answers. Nanaw read over his science, history, reading, and English and had Chase make a few spelling, grammar, and punctuation corrections. Chase and Nanaw had a nice talk about Nanaw trying to help Chase with his homework and that he should let her know if she didn’t say things nicely and she would fix it. Chase said Nanaw was the best and he gave her a big hug. There’s a major snowstorm in the weather forecast, and Chase has a snow day tomorrow because the Columbia schools do.

When Chase got in the back seat of Nanaw's car at school pickup time, he said, "We're going somewhere, aren't we?" when he saw the snacks and Kool-Aid Jammer on the back seat. Nanaw said, "Yes, we have to go to the health food store to return an incorrect vitamin I bought." Chase wasn't too happy about the trip but had his snacks and phone to keep him happy. When Nanaw came out to the car after exchanging the vitamins, Chase wanted to know how it went. Nanaw said it went well, and Chase said that's a good thing. He said if it hadn't gone well, he would have gone inside and talked to them and given them a bad review. Nanaw just loved that. Then Chase asked Nanaw if she knew what a Karen was. Nanaw said yes, it was a meme about someone who complained about everything and wanted everything her way. Then Nanaw told Chase there was now a man version of Karen named Kevin. He thought that was funny. On the way home, they drove by Vianney, a Catholic high school. Nanaw told Chase that that's where Cole's dad went to high school, and he wants Cole to go there. Nanaw asked Chase if he was going to Gibault, and Chase said, "I'm in fifth grade. Let's not worry about it now." Nanaw thought that was hilarious. Tomorrow Nanaw will tell Mama about the two things she and Chase talked about. Mama will like them.

Chase and Daddy went to church on Sunday morning but Nanaw forgot to ask Chase if he saw any of his friends there. In the afternoon, Chase and Daddy went to Kennedy park to go ice skating. Chase said they had fun. Then they went to Dick's, and Chase got a new hockey stick. When Nanaw got to Chase's house for dinner, both Mama's and Daddy's cars were in the driveway instead of the garage, and Nanaw wondered what was going on. Chase was in the garage, and he said he was playing with his new hockey stick. So that's what was going on. Dinner was wonderful roast beef and candied yams that Mama made in the crockpot and that were very good. Of course, Chase didn't like them but that's how it usually goes. After dinner, Chase picked up his toys in the living room, and then he and Nanaw went downstairs for Chase to do VR. The first game he did was a spooky-looking one that he said was a new game. Then he did hockey. Nanaw watched him play on her phone. After a while, Mama called Chase and Nanaw upstairs for ice cream cake. It was from Chase's birthday -- everybody was too full on Chase's birthday to have it then.

Chase had baseball practice at 8:30 on Saturday morning. Daddy dropped him off at Nanaw's for a visit on their way home. Chase brought his $25 Roblox gift card to use in playing Roblox on Nanaw's computer. At first, he had trouble with getting the game to take the gift card. It would accept the gift card but the amount wouldn't show up in the game, and it kept telling Chase to check back later. Chase was not very happy about that but eventually, it worked itself out. Nanaw sat in the computer lab with Chase and played on the laptop. Mama came to pick Chase up at about 11:30. She told Chase they were going to Red Roof to buy $50 worth of scratchers. That's how much they'd won in their previous batch of scratchers. Chase said he didn't want to go, and Mama said he could wait in the car. Nanaw will have to ask Mama if that's what he really did. Chase had hockey practice on Saturday evening, and Mama went to a pajama party at Aunt' Becca's house for a couple of hours.

Chase was very excited when Nanaw picked him up from school on Friday afternoon because he didn't have any homework. Then he remembered he had to print out a five-day weather forecast of some place more than 30 miles from the area in which he lived. When they called Mama for the daily pickup call, Chase and Mama decided they would do it sometime this weekend, along with his AR reading. At Nanaw's house, Chase played Roblox on the computer, and Nanaw did various computer things on the laptop in the computer lab. Nanaw likes sitting in there with Chase while he plays on the computer. It's fun to listen to him talk to the games and get excited when he scores a hockey goal. In the evening, Mama, Daddy, Chase, Uncle Mike, Aunt Becky, and Nanaw went Joe Boccardi's for Mama's belated birthday dinner. Chase had Dino Nuggets and French fries. After dinner, they all went back to Chase's house for cake and ice cream: Mama baked a chocolate cake with chocolate icing and bought chocolate ice cream and vanilla with some kind of swirls. Chase played with his VR for a while, and Nanaw watched him on her phone.

For some reason, Chase didn't want Mama to put mousse on his hair Thursday morning so it looked sort of unruly but Chase didn't seem to mind. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school (in the cold, windy weather), Chase said he had reading homework and math. The first thing they did when they got home was the gratitude thing, which is really going well. Chase doesn't complain about it and he always has something to write down that he'd be grateful for. After the gratitude thing, Chase started his homework. He said it wouldn't take long but that wasn't the case. The reading homework took a long time, and then the math homework took even longer. Chase wanted to finish the math at home but things were going so well with the Chase and Nanaw working together on it, that Nanaw called Mama to see if it was all right if Chase didn't get home till 5:30 so that they could get the math finished. Mama said that was okay. So Chase and Nanaw got all the math done. When Chase got home, he announced that he was so happy that he could play VR again that night. But first, Chase and Daddy were going to play knee hockey downstairs.

Chase wasn’t very happy when he got to Nanaw’s house on Wednesday morning. Mama told Nanaw that last night Chase got a game for the VR without telling anyone. Mama and Daddy said he always had to ask permission to get games. They told him he couldn’t play VR Wednesday night. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he told her he had planned to play the game he got with two of his friends. But it turned out that they weren’t available to play Wednesday night. So it all worked out. Chase said he had Duolink homework for Spanish and reading homework. He also had his weekly writing, and he said he wanted to do it with Mama. He also wanted to do AR reading at home. Chase and Nanaw did their gratitude thing when they got home from school. For snacks, Chase had string cheese, Swiss cheese, chocolate milk, Reese’s Pieces, and potato chips.

When Chase and Mama got to Nanaw’s house on Tuesday morning, she said he could wear a white uniform shirt to school because they were having chicken patties for lunch and that wouldn’t stain his shirt. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, she told him they were going to Dollar Tree before going home because the cleaning lady was still there. At Dollar Tree, they bought lots of candy, potato chips and cheese dip. At home, the cleaning lady was gone. Chase and Nanaw did their gratitude thing and then Chase had a snack before starting his homework. He had reading and English. The Reading was about Wonder book but Nanaw couldn’t help with that because she hadn’t read the book. She read through the English assignment and Chase explained it to her. Chase played on the computer when he was done with his homework. In the evening, Mama told Nanaw that Chase was in trouble because he got a VR game without asking. So he doesn’t get to play VR tomorrow. Nanaw doesn’t understand how he got a game without a password.

Everybody was off today for Martin Luther King Day. Nanaw had a doctor's appointment in the morning and then went over to Chase's house for a visit around two p.m., after her soap opera. Chase was downstairs playing with his Oculus so Nanaw went down there. Daddy was finished with his project: A big heater with a fireplace-looking thing and shelves sitting under the TV. It's very cool. Nanaw watched Chase play with the Oculus on her phone for a long while. Then he played hockey for a bit, and then they went upstairs to play a game with Mama. At first, Mama and Chase couldn't agree on what game to play. Finally, they settled on Meme. Nanaw said she would do some research on what a meme is. It was first mentioned in 1976 and then really took off in 1996. A meme is a unit of cultural information spread by imitation and comes from the Greek word for imitation. Toward the end of the game, Chase and Nanaw were tied. Mama wanted to have the game end in a tie but Chase insisted on a tie-breaker -- and, of course, he won the game. Chase had to leave for hockey practice at 4:30; he had baseball practice after that. Mama had dinner at Washy's with Brady's mom and Hunter's mom. Chase and Daddy went to church on Sunday morning, and later in the day, Chase said the only one of his friends he saw was Maria. Nanaw went over to visit Chase after she went to church. Chase was doing his Oculus in the kitchen when Nanaw got there because Daddy was working on a project downstairs where Chase usually does his Oculus. Mama had him stop playing it so he could play with Nanaw. They went into Chase's room to play with his pizza set and bag of food. Tee Tee was the manager of the restaurant, and Lars was the welcoming person. Eventually, Lars went into the kitchen to cook. Chase really likes playing restaurant with the stuffed animals, at his house, and at Nanaw's house. After playing restaurant was over, Chase and Nanaw played hockey in the hall. Chase dressed in his padding and hockey mask, reminding Nanaw of Jason in Friday the 13th. Mama said she watched that movie Friday in her office on Chase's DVD player. After hockey, Chase did his new (free) Oculus hockey game, Nanaw watched him on her phone. She messed around with the app and finally got it to work on her phone. Chase had a tournament hockey game in the early evening, and they lost 6-1. After the game, several of the hockey families, including Chase's family, went out to dinner together at a sports bar.

Mama said Chase’s hockey team lost their first tournament game Friday night 6-1. She said it was a rough game. She said the Saturday morning game was better even though they lost 4-2. Nanaw came over to visit Chase after lunch. Mama said they had foot-long sub sandwiches for lunch and have enough left over for dinner. When Nanaw got to Chase’s house, he and Mama were playing with Chase’s pizza set and bag of food at the kitchen table. It was really cute to watch. Chase and Nanaw went downstairs so Chase could play Oculus Quest. Nanaw’s phone would not work for casting so Nanaw could watch what Chase was doing. Neither would Chase’s phone so they had to borrow Daddy’s phone again. Chase did the convenience store clerk in Job Simulator and lots of hockey while Nanaw watched. Chase had another tournament hockey game this evening. They tied 3-3 so Nanaw imagines Chase was happy about that. And probably Mama and Daddy too. In the first picture below, Chase is number 95.

When Mama brought Chase to Nanaw's house on Friday morning, they discovered that Creeper was in the guys' bag. So Nanaw said she would stop by Chase's house after she dropped him off at school. Mama said she would bring Creeper out to Nanaw's car so Nanaw didn't have to go up and down the steps. That was so sweet of Mama. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he said he had homework in vocabulary and reading. He said he wanted to do the vocabulary with Nanaw and the reading with Mama. When they talked to Mama on the phone, she said that she and Chase would do the reading homework on Monday because everybody was off from work and school. Something went wrong when Nanaw helped Chase with vocabulary. They got four out of thirty wrong -- shocking Nanaw because she thought she got everything right. She wasn't sure what got missed and couldn't go back and look at it because Chase did it online on his Chromebook and submitted it online. Nanaw feels really bad about it. Next time she'll make sure all the answers are correct. Chase had a hockey game tonight so Nanaw had to have him home by five o'clock.

Once again, the gratitude thing went really well. Chase is so sweet about it and is ready to do it as soon as he gets home from school. It helps to have Tee Tee and Lars doing it also. Nanaw continues to be surprised that Chase is so accepting of the gratitude thing. He gets a piece of Milky Way candy bar after each session, and tat probably helps. Chase had history homework due tomorrow. They've finished with India and have moved on to China. Chase answered the questions and then gave his answers and the background material to Nanaw. Nanaw read the background material and it was really interesting. Nanaw learned a lot about ancient China that she never knew before. After reading the background material, Nanaw check Chase's answers, and he got everything right. When he was done with the history homework, Chase and Nanaw checked his email to see if he had any messages from teachers that he would have to do something about. Chase had to be home by 5:15 because he and Daddy were going to baseball hitting practice. Mama wasn't there; she was having dinner with Aunt Becca and Uncle Stan at La Fiesta for her birthday.

Once again, the one gratitude thing a day went well. Chase and Nanaw switched stuffed animals. Chase took Lars, and Nanaw took Tee Tee. Nanaw was overjoyed when both Tee Tee and Chase said they were grateful for Nanaw. That made Nanaw very happy. Nanaw forgot to ask Chase if he got his reading homework done today -- the one that he forgot to bring home yesterday. Chase had lots of homework today. He had reading, science and weekly writing. His weekly writing was a list of ten things but Nanaw can't remember what the list was about so she'll find out tomorrow. Nanaw didn't get to read his weekly writing so she'll try to read it in the morning before he goes to school. Chase got all his homework done except for AR reading so he's going to do that tonight. Mama picked Chase up at 4:15 for his eye doctor appointment.

When Chase and Nanaw got back to Nanaw's house from school, they did their one thing of gratitude, joined by Lars and Tee Tee. Nanaw is amazed at how well this is going. She was sure that Chase would refuse to do it, the way he does with a lot of things, but he's been totally agreeable, which is quite a surprise to Nanaw. Chase brought home the materials for studying for tomorrow's test in English. He and Nanaw went through the materials; then Nanaw made up some additional words and sentences for him to study. He also brought home the materials to study for his religion test tomorrow. He's going to study religion with Daddy tonight. Chase discovered that he forgot to bring home one of his reading homework assignments. He was sure he'd brought it home, and he and Nanaw searched all over for it but couldn't find it. Chase and Nanaw decided that Chase would get to school tomorrow morning as early as he could so he could work on the homework. Chase is going to get two Bs on his report card: one in AR reading and one in computers.

When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, she asked if he had his study materials for his nouns test in English tomorrow, and he had forgotten them. Without protest, he raced back into school to get the materials and then raced back out to Nanaw. Nanaw was very proud of him for not complaining about going back in or refusing to go. When they got home to Nanaw's house, Nanaw explained to Chase about the new Alexa project they were going to do. Every day after school, they were going to take a minute and write one thing they were grateful for in their notebook. (Nanaw decided that Lars the Lemur would do it with them and that he would share Nanaw's notebook. Tomorrow Nanaw will ask Chase if he also wants Tee Tee to do it with them and share Chase's notebook.) For homework, Chase had Reading questions to answer and then he and Nanaw studied the nouns for his English test tomorrow. He also did his AR reading. He had a few minutes to play on the computer before Daddy came to pick him up at 4:30 to go to baseball practice. After baseball practice, they were going to go to something called Dry Land for hockey practice. Nanaw thinks Dry Land is hockey without ice.

Sunday, January 8, 2023 -- Happy Birthday, Mama!

Daddy and Chase went to church on Sunday morning, then in the afternoon, they all went to Arby's for lunch and then they went to Target so Chase could spend his gifts cards. Mama said he spent about $120 and had a lot of fun doing it. He got games and hockey cards and other stuff. Nanaw came over in the evening for another birthday dinner for Mama, this time from Imo's. Mama and Daddy had pizza and cheese garlic bread. Chase had mozzarella sticks and cheese bites and cheese garlic bread. Nanaw had the house salad with ranch dressing. After dinner, Mama, Chase and Nanaw played a card game called Penguin Panic. You had to blurt out a word to match letters on cards. Mama and Chase did much better than Nanaw. Chase won by a lot, which is very surprising and a good thing. Chase opened some of the hockey card packets he bought at Target and was very excited to get an O'Reilly card. Next, they went downstairs so Nanaw could watch Chase play with the Oculus on the phone. She couldn't get her phone or Daddy's phone to do it, so Daddy came downstairs and made it work. Chase got a new hockey game last night from Daddy, and he really likes it and played it the whole time, almost an hour. While Chase and Nanaw were downstairs, Daddy and Mama had cherry chip birthday cake.

Saturday was the day that was supposed to be Mama's birthday dinner at Joe B's. but they had to cancel dinner out because Aunt Becky has Covid. They've rescheduled it for Friday, January 20. And the latest family news is that Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky are going to Rockbridge from March 16 till March 20. They are going to stay in the Mackey House, and they've invited any of the kids who want to come. The kids would have to pay for their fishing permit and fish. So far, Robbie, Nichole and Jon Jon are interested in coming. Joey is thinking about it. Chase says he wishes he could go. He really likes Rockbridge. Chase had hockey practice Saturday evening, and Mama and Nanaw went to pick up dinner at Joe B's at 7:15. Mama and Daddy got pizza, Chase got mostaccioli with meatballs, and Nanaw got a Caesar salad. Nanaw brought over Mama's cherry chip birthday cake but no one ate any last night. After dinner, Chase wanted Nanaw to go downstairs with him and watch him play with the Hoverboard she bought him for his birthday and his Meta Quest. There's a way to watch what he's doing on the headset on the phone. The headset casts the images onto the phone. It's very cool. After a few minutes, Chase let Nanaw play the Star Wars game, and that was awesome. Such a tall ceiling and interesting figures. Nanaw really liked it. Then she went back to watching Chase do the job simulator and the hockey game. He loves the VR!

In the morning when Mama brings Chase to Nanaw’s house, she puts mousse on his hair so that he looks cool. It’s very cute to see. Once upon a time, Nanaw helped Chase get dressed. Now, all he wants her to do is put on his socks, which Nanaw is delighted to do so. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he said he had a good day at school except for one thing. Nanaw always worries when she hears something like that. This time, it was Chase’s bleeding lip from dry lips. At home, Nanaw put antibiotic cream on Chase’s lip. Nanaw was going to look at Chase’s history and Spanish projects on his Chromebook but she forgot. She’ll look at them on Saturday night when she goes to Chase’s house for a take-out dinner from Joe‘s for Mama’s birthday. (Note: Nanaw forgot to look at them Saturday night so she'll look at them Sunday night when she goes to Chase's house for another birthday dinner for Mama, this time from Imo's.) Chase had a really late hockey game tonight at 8:40.
