Chase and Nanaw went on an exciting adventure today, one they haven’t done for months: They went to the train store in Valley Park, one of Chase’s favorite places. Before they went, Chase and Nanaw played downstairs with his trains and with his groceries and cash register. He pretends like he’s scanning groceries on the cash register, like Nanaw does at Walmart – very cute. Mama bought him a scanner and groceries for Christmas – he’s going to be very excited about it. At the train store, Chase seemed to have a wonderful time playing with the trains on the huge table, plus the smaller tables. He also seemed to enjoy playing with the other little children there. Naturally, when it was time to leave, Chase didn’t want to go. Nanaw gave him money to donate to the pot-bellied stove but he still cried all the way out. Nanaw included some photos from yesterday of Chase painting at the kitchen table – very cute.
