First thing on Wednesday morning, Daddy took Chase to church for Mass and then to school. Daddy said Chase wiped the ashes off his forehead right away so Daddy didn't get a chance to take a picture of him for Mama. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he hid inside the door again, just like on Monday. Nanaw isn't sure what's going on with that - -he was fine when he finally came out of the school. Nanaw and Chase went to Waterloo Walmart to get gingko for Mama and another color-changing car for Chase. Unfortunately, that Walmart was out of gingko also. And Chase had a difficult time deciding what color-changing car he wanted or if he even wanted one. It took forever and finally Nanaw said she was making an executive decision and getting the sheriff color-changing car. Chase cried and said, "No, don't make exec decision." Very funny. As soon as they got to the car, Chase asked for sheriff and said he wanted to open it so all was well. When they got home, Chase played with the hot water, ice water and sheriff for a long while. He was very excited to show sheriff to Mama and Daddy.
