When Nanaw took Chase to school, she picked up his jacket and the water bottle he forgot yesterday. She reminded him to bring his jacket and water bottle home with him at the end of the day (and he did!). On the drive home from school, Chase started to fall asleep again but woke up when they got home. He decided to go in his room and watch Daniel Tiger on TV. For the first time that Nanaw could remember, he said please when asking for something without being prompted (he said, "Please may I have a popsicle?") When Nanaw took Chase home, they went out to dinner with Mama and Daddy. They went to Bully's, which has delicious barbecue. Chase brought marbles from Nanaw's house, plus a stick bot figure, a Tsum Tsum, and several long plastic sticks. The idea was to stage a baseball game on the dinner table, and that's exactly what Chase did. It was very funny and very cute. Chase had grilled cheese and mac n cheese; Daddy had a pork steak and hush puppies; Mama had a bacon burger; and Nanaw had yummy wonderful ribs and slaw. It was a super delicious dinner and a fun time. On the way home from dinner, Nanaw drove by Daddy's and Chase's church to see the construction of Chase's new school and took pictures. The school is scheduled to be completed in January 2019.
