Chase had his first baseball game on Tuesday. Daddy said Nanaw could have him back home a little before six, but Nanaw should have taken him home earlier. He had cursive homework (Easter words) and he didn't get finished before it was time to go. Mama had him finish the cursive homework the next morning -- she said it only took 15 minutes. Chase and Daddy picked Nanaw up to go to the baseball field in Affton. It's the same place where Chase played baseball last year. They got there at 7:15 but the game didn't start until after 8. Mama had a hair appointment in St. Peters and met them at the baseball field. They sat with Brady's mom and Connor's mom. The team they played against had some boys from ICS, plus Koda who used to go to ICS but now goes to the Columbia schools. They're a more accomplished team so they won over Chase's team. Nanaw was glad she brought along her sweater because it got really chilly outside. Mama and Nanaw left about 10, before the game was over.
