Chase and Nanaw took their morning walk and spent time at the WE Bar / Bistro – once again Chase stayed awake the whole time. Chase divided his time during the day among the bugaboo chair in the kitchen and living room, the high chair in the kitchen, the Einstein chair downstairs and crawling around the living floor. Once more, Chase was most interested in crawling toward where the electrical cords are located or the Wii controllers in the entertainment center. He seems to know exactly what he shouldn’t be going after. He watched two Samuel Whiskers books on the Mighty Books website and seemed to enjoy them. In the evening, Daddy’s golf plans were cancelled so Mama and Nanaw had a motherand daughter adventure. First, they went to Michael’s for sketch pads and markers for Natalie as she recuperates from her ankle fracture. Then, Mama and Nanaw went to the Schafly branch of the St. Louis Library in the Central West End to see Tess Gerritsen, the mystery writer who created Rizzoli and Iles. The presentation was interesting and funny, and Mama bought Tess' new book, "Last to Die" and had it signed by the author.  Daddy and Chase had a father and son evening together. Sam’s toy of the day was his brown monkey.
