Today was Mama’s 44th birthday. She worked a half day at home, then came over to Nanaw’s house for her birthday adventures with Chase and Nanaw.  In the morning, Chase and Nanaw went to the Telegraph Road Library Laptime with Miss Kim. There were about 10 children there and lots of new toys, including new blocks and a new puzzle-piece floor. For lunch, they went to Fortel’s in Aft and had delicious pizza. After lunch, they went to Babys R Us and bought a LapPup for Chase. Then it was on to Shoe Carnival where Mama bought new kicks (aka Nikes) and looked at shoes for Chase but didn’t buy any. Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky came over to Nanaw’s and they all went to Joe Boccardi’s for Mama’s birthday dinner. Chase had fettuccine alfredo and really seemed to like it. After dinner, they came back to Nanaw’s for cherry chip cake and chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
