Chase had two adventures today: getting a Thomas the Train house from a garage sale and going to the playground at the big park by the high school. Mama saw the Thomas the Train house at a garage sale in Nanaw’s subdivision and called Nanaw to tell her about it. So Chase and Nanaw went to buy Thomas. Chase seemed extremely excited about the Thomas the Train house and spent a lot of time playing inside. When he went home for the day, he said, "Bye bye, Thomas." It was very cute. Later in the morning, Chase and Nanaw went to the playground. Nanaw told Chase they were going, and he kept saying "Playground? Playground?" Nanaw told him the list of what they were going to play on at the park, then told him again but forgot to say airplane. Chase added airplane to the list – what a smart little boy he is. Chase seemed to have lots of fun playing on the fire truck, the merry go round, the sandbox, the airplane, the swings, the slides and the seesaw. To nanaw’s surprise, Chase said the word seesaw when he climbed on the seesaw – Nanaw didn’t know he knew the word and neither did Mama and Daddy. The visit to the playground was a great success until the end when a little boy with five cars came to play on the slide where Chase was. Chase wanted the little boy’s "bee-byes" so Nanaw and Chase went to the car and brought back Chase’s bee-byes. For awhile, all was well while the boys raced their cars down the slide. Then Chase decided he wanted the little boy’s bee-byes and threw a major tantrum when he couldn’t have them, and Chase and Nanaw went home.
