Chase’s adventure for the day was going with Daddy to visit Uncle Chris and then Grandma Pat. Grandma Pat made a grilled cheese sandwich for Chase’s lunch but the little dickens didn’t eat it. He napped a little on the drive out to Uncle Chris’s house but didn’t have a long nap on Sunday. In the evening, Nanaw came over for a roast beef and mashed potatoes dinner. After dinner, Mama, Daddy, Sam, Chase and Nanaw went for a long walk in Chase’s neighborhood. As usual, Chase played with his trains a lot. He seems to like to have someone else playing trains with him, rolling the trains up and down the track. Nanaw finally found Thomas the Train – it was hiding under Pawpaw’s bed.
