Rockbridge, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, August 4, 5, and 6, 2021

Chase, Mama, Daddy and Nanaw had a wonderful three-day trips to Rockbridge. Two things stood out: Chase caught a 2.97 pound fish all by himself, and Daddy rented a golf cart for Mama, Chase and Nanaw. It was so much fun riding around in the golf cart. Daddy caught nine trout. On the trip down to Rockbridge, they stopped at Panera in Rolla. Chase had a croissant and a cookie; Daddy had a cookie; Mama had a striped thing; and Nanaw had a bread sliced cinnamon crunch bagel and an orange scone. Their favorite waitress, Little Deb wasn't there at Rockbridge until Friday. It was really good to see her again. The food at the Rockbridge restaurant was good, as usual, especially the grilled cinnamon rolls. Nanaw bought Chase a stuffed frog, now named Froggy, and a Dalmatian puppy, now named Pongo. The weather was beautiful, cool and sunny. Chase had a wonderful time swimming in the pool on Wednesday and Thursday. It was a nice pool, and Nanaw and Mama enjoyed sitting poolside. It was a wonderful trip to Rockbridge, even though they missed Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky. It will be great when they all go to Rockbridge in November.
