Chase had a major adventure on Sunday afternoon. He and Mama and Daddy went to the Cardinals baseball game. The giveaway was a kid's Cardinals' baseball glove. Mama also bought him a baseball bat at the gift shop. Chase had a big bag of popcorn to eat at the ballpark. That was the only snack he had. Mama said they were sitting in the sun, and it was really hot. Her face got sunburned. Mama had invited Nanaw over for a pork steak dinner on Sunday evening, which was delicious. They also had baked beans and crescent rolls. For dessert, there was delicious gooey butter cake. After dinner, Chase put his baseball cards in the folder Mama bought for him, then showed the folder to Mama and then to Nanaw. Next, Chase got on his swimming suit and went out to his pool. He showed Nanaw all the swimming strokes he'd learned by watching swimming on the Olympics. He did really well. He said he practiced yesterday with Elias in his pool. He'll have fun in the pool at Rockbridge. After swimming, Nanaw sat with Chase while he took his bath. Then they played demo derby on the living room floor with Chase's many cars. Nanaw left for home but had to come back because she forgot her phone on the charger.
