Chase, Mama, Daddy, Uncle Mike, Aunt Becky, and Nanaw went to Rockbridge, Friday through Sunday, November 5 - November 7, 2021. They had a wonderful time and nobody wanted to come home. On the trip there, they made their usual stop at Panera (St. Louis Bread Company) in Rolla. Chase had a pumpkin cookie, and Nanaw had a cinnamon crunch bagel and an orange scone. She saw that they have flatbread pizza so she wants to go there for lunch or dinner sometime. Chase and Nanaw played a couple of games on the car ride. Daddy, Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky caught 16 fish; Mama didn't fish, and the one fish Chase hooked got away. On Saturday, they rented a golf cart and that was fun. There were lots of walks for Sam and Sylvester (and Nanaw). Nanaw had trouble walking up the hill to the room and the steps also. She said next time, she would ask someone to drive down to the lodge for meals. Or maybe she could cure her shortness of breath and leg weakness before the next trip to Rockbridge. For breakfast on Saturday, Chase had a biscuit and gravy; on Sunday he had butterfly pancakes. On Friday night, they watched part of the movie Night of the Twisters. On Saturday night, they watched part of Sandlot. Nanaw wants to watch the rest of Sandlot and Chase probably does too because it's about baseball. Chase went fishing two or three times with Daddy and had lots of fun. It was a great trip, and Chase want to go again in the summer, and he wants Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky to go along.
