Wednesday morning was the first morning in a long while that Mama brought Chase over to Nanaw's house early, and Nanaw took Chase to school. When Nanaw picked Chase up, she told him they had to go to Walgreens to pick up a prescription. She said they would go through the Drive-Thru. Chase said it was okay as soon as he heard they were going through the Drive-Thru and that Nanaw had brought her old phone along for him to play with. He said he had homework in two areas -- his Spanish project and his Number the Stars project. Both projects are due on Monday. Chase said he didn't bring his Number the Stars papers home so he couldn't work on that. He said he wanted to work on the Spanish project that evening with Mama. Nanaw told Chase that she found an M&M ice cream sandwich in the freezer that she would give him for his snack. So then he asked if could have an Icee also, and Nanaw gave him both of the treats. Then he asked for a bag of original Cheez-Its and a bag of Goldfish. He only ate part of the snacks and asked Nanaw to put them in little plastic bags so he could have them tomorrow.
