Daddy had the day off on Thursday so he took Chase to school. Nanaw missed the little fellow. Nanaw spent most of the days packing for Rockbridge but she's still not finished. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, she had her list of homework to check with him. They gave Hunter a ride home, which was great fun for Chase. As usual, he had a boatload of homework, and it's even more complicated because of him being out of school tomorrow. He'll miss three quizzes tomorrow that he'll have to take on Monday. He didn't want to do any of homework this afternoon; he just wanted to play on the computer. But Mama told Nanaw to have him do homework so that's what Nanaw did. He fussed about it but finally complied. He didn't get everything done so he'll have to do some homework at Rockbridge. He'll be taking his back pack along. Nanaw checked a movie called Swindle out of the library for Chase and Nanaw to watch at Rockbridge. It's the only movie Nanaw could find that's based on a book by Chase's favorite new author, Gordon Korman. Chase said they could watch it Friday night.
