Chase spent the day at Nanaw's house. They went for a walk in the morning before the downpour of rain began. Chase ate rice cereal and peas today. He did much better with the peas, opening his mouth and getting most of them eaten. Not so much with the rice cereal. Nanaw mended Sam's football loofah toy and posed Chase with it for a "Toy of the Day" photo. Chase listened to a Spot book, an Elmo book and a Miss Spider ABC book. Nanaw checked out four books for Chase from the Telegraph Road library and the Miss Spider ABC book was one of them. Tonight, Mama's best friend Alice and her husband Chris and kids Phoebe and Will were coming to spend the evening and have pizza, and Mama dressed Chase in a cute little romper outfit and a Gerber bib in honor of Uncle Chris.
