Chase spent the day at Nanaw’s house, and on the way there, Nanaw practiced the "Time to Go to the Good-bye Shelf" song so Chase would get used to it. Tomorrow, we’ll sing for Mama and Daddy when they leave for work. Nanaw also drove up the gravel road to check out Daddy’s new church that’s being built near their home. When they got to Nanaw’s house, Chase met neighbor Dan and his dog Snickers and smiled at them. Chase and Nanaw went for a long walk in the subdivision. When they got home, Chase listened to the "Sleep Tight, Little Bear" book by Martin Wassell (the same author who wrote "Owl Babies") from the library, then watched the DVD that accompanied the book.
