Today was Daddy’s 39^th birthday and the Southerland family had a day of adventures. Nanaw came to visit in the morning before she went to Aspenhof. Mama read the Spot Daddy book to Chase and Nanaw took a picture. In the afternoon, Mama, Daddy and Chase went out to Grandma Pat’s for Daddy’s birthday lunch – Rueben sandwiches but only a bottle for Chase. Grandma Pat gave Chase a toy to hang from his car seat – a frog that vibrates and buzzes. On the drive home, Daddy thought there was a wasp in the car but it was only Chase pulling on the frog. In the evening lots of people came over for Daddy’s birthday dinner: Aunt Kristen ( who brought enchiladas) , Aunt Theresa and Uncle Dave, Aunt Becca and Uncle Stan, Uncle Will-Bill. Unfortunately, Mama forget to take photos of the birthday events.
