Chase spent time playing with his new best friend, Scout, a stuffed dog that talks to him and calls him Chase. Scout also sings songs and plays bedtime music, and Mama programmed it with information on the computer – very clever. Chase and Nanaw went for a walk in the afternoon. In the evening, Daddy went golfing so Mama, Chase and Nanaw went grocery shopping when Mama got home from work for ingredients for an experimental dinner of chicken spiedini – which unfortunately wasn’t a great success. Sam's toy of the day was his brown and white floppy cow.
