Lots of adventures today for Chase! First, he went to Laptime at the Tesson Ferry Library and seemed to have fun watching the other children and playing with the box of books. After Laptime, Chase and Nanaw picked up Sam and went back to Nanaw’s house to get ready for Uncle Mike’s 47th birthday celebration. Chase rode around in the kitchen in his bugaboo chair while Nanaw fixed mostaccioli and baked a German chocolate cake for Uncle Mike’s birthday cake. Cousin Mike and cousin Kristie had to work and were unable to attend their dad’s birthday party but everyone else was there – including Joe’s girlfriend Leia and Nichole’s boyfriend Joe. Chase's favorite thing at the birthday dinner seemed to be the balloon that Aunt Becky brought for Uncle Mike and attached to Chase as he crawled around. Sam's toy of the day was his red devil.
