On Tuesday night, Chase, Daddy and Sam talked to Mama on Facetime. Daddy says Chase stared and stared at the iPod. Sam got sort of spooked by it and ran away. Wednesday morning, Chase and Nanaw went on an early morning adventure to the Post Office and to Walmart. As usual, Chase seemed absolutely fascinated with everything that was going on at Walmart – watching the customers and the checkout person. In the afternoon, Mama called and Chase "talked" to her as Nanaw held the phone to his ear – he kept looking all around, trying to figure out where she was. Maybe Mama will bring him a present from her trip. Just before Daddy arrived home, Chase was in his Einstein chair eating Puffs, and Sam came to visit – hoping for Puffs. Chase laughed and laughed at Sam’s activities. Daddy took Chase and Sam for an early evening walk before Mama got home fromCharlotte. Sam’s toy of the day was his pink elephant.
