Chase and Nanaw mostly stayed home today. They went for an early morning walk in Nanaw's subdivision, and then ran an errand to Nanaw's church to get the CD so Nanaw could update the church website. Today, Mama and Uncle Mike were the ones who had the great adventure: They drove to Springfield, Missouri to see Chris Carpenter pitch in a Double A baseball game. They also went to the Bass Pro Shop. Mama sent Chase a note, telling him that she was sorry she wasn't going to get to see him today and that she loved him very much. Nanaw read the note to Chase and then let him chew on it for awhile. Chase and Nanaw wore their Chris Carpenter jerseys today in honor of Mama's and Uncle Mike's road trip adventure. When Nanaw took Chase home, Daddy said they were going to have hot dogs and hamburgers for dinner and that Chase would probably go outside to play in his back yard.
