Chase's adventure on Monday was a trip to the Science Center. He was very happy to go -- it's still one of his most favorite places to visit. He played with a lot of his usual things: the two air ball displays, the block building, the dinosaur dig, the smoke tunnel, the toy dinosaurs, the coal furnace and the coin return. He was very excited about the new outside display area there called Grow. They have plants and chickens and a huge building with displays on Missouri and Illinois and what grows there. His favorite part of the outdoor display was a water area where they had buckets and water pumps. He'd never seen a water pump before and had a great time pushing the handle up and down and pumping water into his bucket. Chase and Nanaw will have to go back to the Science Center next week. After the Science Center, Chase and Nanaw went to Dollar Tree. Chase picked out two Hot Wheels and some capsules that you put in water and they grow into vehicles like cars, boats and planes. Chase loved the capsules and took them home with him.
