Chase and Daddy went to church on Sunday morning, and because Chase was very good in church, he got one of his Secret Life of Pets "mini winebags" -- it was a Chloe. Chase's Sunday adventure was a trip to the Bass Pro Shop in St. Charles with Mama and Daddy to get supplies for the Rockbridge adventure. They bought Nanaw a huge bag of kettle corn, and Chase was excited to tell Nanaw about her surprise present when Nanaw came for dinner and a visit on Sunday evening. Chase and Nanaw played pretend air hockey on the table outside, and guess who kept winning. Chase was very excited when the threshing machine came along at the back of house, harvesting the soybeans. Chase and Nanaw stood by the fence and waved to the workers. Dinner was delicious chicken wings and baked beans. After dinner, everybody ate yummy kettle corn. The thresher came back, and Chase and Nanaw went out on the deck to watch. Chase wore his fire hat and brought his gun, saying it was his water hose. Nanaw turned on the deck Halloween lights for a little festivity. Nanaw and Chase played pretend air hockey in the hall; then they played knockdown and parade knockdown with the Secret Life of Pets figures -- lots of fun.
