Rockbridge Weekend: November 3-5, 2017

Chase had an exciting weekend at Rockbridge with Mama, Daddy, Uncle Mike, Aunt Becky and Nanaw. He had been really looking forward to the adventure and was so happy when Friday morning finally got here. On the drive down to Rockbridge, Chase watched a Richard Scarry video and played with Daddy's iPad. As soon as he arrived at Rockbridge, Chase wanted to put on his new waders and go fishing. Of course,, he only stayed in the water about five minutes. Daddy helped him with the fishing rod but Chase didn't catch anything. The first time Daddy fished, he caught six huge fish in 20 minutes. It was quite the big fishing weekend for Daddy, Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky. They caught a total of 34 large trout. Mama bought Chase a stuffed red bird, and Chase named it Cardinal Bird. Nanaw bought Chase a stuffed baby trout, and Chase named it Freddy Trout Baby. Chase behaved excellently and said he had a great time. He was sad that the flood destroyed the playground. Chase and Nanaw had a super time watching the three kitties and their Mama. Chase said one of the gray kitties looks just like Sidney Crosby the Cat. Chase met a friend, a seven-year-old girl named Jenna. Her grandmother is Sandy, one of the owners of Rockbridge. He only got to play with her for a little while but he had fun. Maybe he can see her again next year.
