Chase was up late last night because of Mama's birthday party but he still got up around 7:30. He and Daddy went to 9 o'clock mass at church in the morning. In the afternoon, Nanaw came over to play with Chase. Last night, he asked her to bring along the chess set when she came to visit today so she did. Nanaw won the first game courtesy of Chase, and Chase won the second game. Nanaw still doesn't know what she's doing with chess. she'll have to keep studying the rules. Next, they played with the Slime Chase got for his birthday. Then they played with the Akinator app for awhile. Mama came in and played the app with them, too. Mama was going to do the DNA test Nanaw bought for Sylvester but he'd had a treat not too long ago and that didn't work for the test. So Mama is going to do the test tomorrow. Nanaw left about 4:30 to do more grocery shopping and so Chase could get ready for hockey practice. Mama was going to go along to watch practice. She was going to check out a warmer enclosed space to see if you could see hockey practice from there. If there's a warm enough place, Nanaw could come along to watch practice.
