The first picture below is one from yesterday's Zoo visit that Mama forgot to send to Nanaw. Today was Grandma Pat's funeral out in Troy and Silex. Nanaw took a picture of Chase in his tie, dress shirt, dress slacks and dress shoes. He looked very handsome. Nanaw followed Mama, Daddy and Chase on the drive out to Troy. Chase was very sad about Grandma Pat. He cried a bit while he was sitting with Nanaw and Jackson but he tried to hide it. Then, after the final viewing, he started to sob and Mama and Daddy wrapped their arms around him and hugged him hard. Jackson and his dad were at the funeral home, and so were Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky. The funeral mass was in Silex at the St. Alphonse Church. Auntie LaLa and Chris were there, and Nanaw sat with Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky, Jackson and his dad, and Auntie LaLa and Chris. There was a lunch with a lot of delicious food at the Knights of Columbus Hall across the street from the church. Chase sat next to Jackson to eat, and then played pretend baseball with Jackson and cousin Elias.
