Mama and Daddy had the day off work on Friday so they took Chase to school rather than Nanaw. Mama wasn't feeling well -- she felt tired and had a headache but she and Daddy went to get her ring cleaned and to buy new shoes. Then they went to lunch at the Blarney Stone, so it was a nice day for them. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he told her that his class had to do five laps around the playground at recess and the other 5th-grade class had to do 15 laps. Evidently, they misbehaved and talked back yesterday when they had a substitute teacher. Chase said he didn't do anything bad. He said he had Spanish and science homework. Nanaw helped him with the science homework. She told she'd never liked science but that they would make a pact together to like science and be good at it. His homework was about natural resources, and he hadn't brought home much study material so Nanaw did some online research to help them. They got the science homework done but didn't have time for the Spanish. In the evening, Mama, Daddy, Chase and Nanaw had a wonderful movie night with Mama's movie popcorn. At first, Chase wasn't too excited about watching the movie; one time he said he wasn't a movie kind of guy. But he ended up watching most of the movie and really getting into it. The movie was Jurassic World -- Dominion, and the popcorn was delicious.
