Cinco de Mayo is Daddy's birthday and also cousin Joe's. Mama and Daddy took the day off for Daddy's birthday, and they took Chase to school and then went out for breakfast. When Nana picked Chase up from school he told her that he had missed her in the morning. That made Nanaw very happy. He was wearing his DARE tee shirt for the day's clothes plan of spirit wear. He remembered his science fair journal, and he didn't have any homework. He had invited Will over to play but Will didn't come so he probably had something else he had to do. Chase had everything set up to play baseball with Will so that was sort of sad. Maybe next week Will will be able to come over and play. Chase played on the computer and the tablet and ordered two hockey games to play with on the tablet. Mama texted to ask Chase what he wanted for dinner from Tequila's. Chase said he wanted a cheese quesadilla. When Nanaw took Chase home, Chase told Mama he thought they were going out to eat at Tequila's but Mama said she was going to pick up their food. Mama also baked Daddy's favorite cake for his birthday: yellow cake with chocolate frosting.
