On Saturday, Nanaw came back from the little house in the early afternoon to see Chase before he went to Aunt Becca's house for her annual Fourth of July fireworks party. Chase was outside playing while Daddy packed up Chase's baseball net so Chase and cousin Elias could play baseball out in the field at Aunt Becca's. Chase was very excited about the fireworks because Daddy said he could set some of them off. Chase especially wanted to set off a Saturn fireworks thing, whatever that is. Chase and Nanaw went inside to play. Mama was making bacon-wrapped Little Smokies to take to Aunt Becca's and the bacon smelled really yummy. Chase and Nanaw played pizza restaurant with the stuffed animals. Chase was the chef, two of the stuffed animals were waiters, and Nanaw helped two of the stuffed animals be customers. Nanaw is very excited about Tuesday night. Mama and Daddy are going to sell Queen of Hearts tickets at Sunset Overlook to benefit ICS, and Chase is coming to Nanaw's to watch the All-Star Game. When Mama told Chase about it, he said, "And spend the night?" and Mama said yes. Nanaw asked Chase if he wanted Sonic for dinner Tuesday night, and he said, "Yes!"
