First thing in the morning, Chase and Nanaw went shopping at Walmart. Chase’s big thing was pulling items from the back of the cart up in front where he was sitting – very funny. Then Chase’s big adventure today was Laptime at the Telegraph Road library. There were an amazing amount of boys and girls there: Miss Kim said she counted 35 – that must be a record crowd. Chase seemed to have a great time playing with all the toys and with the other boys and girls. He and Nanaw played a game shoving a big rubber ball back and forth on the shelf of a utility care. A couple of times¸ Chase took toys away from other children but was okay when Nanaw returned them to their original owner. On the way home from Nanaw’s, Chase fell asleep. He hadn’t napped much during the day. Nanaw came over for experimental dinner but Chase slept through the whole thing. Mama and Daddy said he didn’t go to bed until 10 p.m. – they think he has his time schedule messed up because of the change to Daylight Saving Time. Mama wanted to make sure Nanaw knew where the during-vacation presents for Chase and Sam were, so Nanaw sent Mama a picture of them.
