Chase and Nanaw stayed home today, with no outside adventures. Chase seemed to have a grand time playing with his toys and Nanaw in his room. He sat on Nanaw’s lap to listen to two books: Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed and one of the Curious George books. Instead of soap operas, Chase and Nanaw watched the broadcast about the selection of a new Pope. On her way home from work, Mama went grocery shopping to make sure that Grandma Pat and Nanaw had food for Chase next week while Mama and Daddy are on vacation. Daddy brought one of Chase’s car seats to the living room before they took it to Aunt Becca’s house for her to use on Saturday for the family Christmas party, and Chase kept climbing into it. So Daddy buckled him in, and Mama took a picture and sent it to Nanaw.
