Chase was happy to go to school on Wednesday, and when he got into the room, he went over to one of the tables to play with two other little boys. There were two pieces of artwork in his folder slot so Nanaw put them in the "portant papers" folder. When Chase came out of school, he was wearing a cute turkey headband that he made in school -- so Nanaw took pictures to send to Mama. Chase and Nanaw went to Powder Valley for their Wednesday adventure. The weather was much better than Tuesday's rain and wind and cold. Chase had a grand time at Powder Valley. Nanaw followed him as he ran around everywhere. His favorite place seemed to be the insect display. He had one of the newsletters and kept calling it his textbook. He and Nanaw did some coloring by the bees and then colored in the leaf area. They went to visit the fish in the aquarium and looked for the turtle but couldn't find him. He might have been buried way under the gravel. Chase and Nanaw spent some time in the viewing area watching the squirrels and birds eating -- no deer or turkeys today.
