When Nanaw went to pick up Chase for at-home-school on Monday morning, he told all of us that he had an announcement. Evidently, he remembered what Mrs. Meyer said at the Zoom session last week about no schoolwork on Thursday, Friday or Monday. Nanaw had him do school work on Thursday and Friday but he wanted no schoolwork on Monday. Eventually he agreed to early dismissal at 11, and that's what they did. He did morning work, his mass part, his religion lesson and flashcards. Nanaw tried a new thing with flashcards, in hopes that it would help him memorize his addition facts. She started showing him the cards that included the answer. For a few of them, he said he knew the answer and that Nanaw should turn the card around so he could give the answer. Maybe this way could help him learn the facts. For lunch, Chase had fettuccini Al Fredo and ham. Nanaw went over to Chase's house for dinner on Monday night -- it was Mama's delicious.
