Chase's class had a field trip today to Boeing and to the Wild Bird Sanctuary. Chase was very excited about the trip to Boeing. He saw lots of airplanes, plus the space capsule that took Alan Shepard to outer space -- very exciting. Tomorrow Nanaw is going to show Chase the Wikipedia article about all of Alan Shepard's achievements and also tell him how the father of one of Nanaw's grade school friends worked at McDonnell on the capsule that took Alan Shepard into space. Chase said they had lunch at a sculpture park, and Nanaw asked if it was the eyeball park they always went to, and Chase said yes. He said they didn't get to look around because it started to rain just when they were finishing their lunches. He said that at the Wild Bird Sanctuary, one of the birds pooped, and everybody laughed at that. He brought home a book from Boeing so Nanaw and Chase will have to look at it tomorrow. Chase brought home his papers for the Heritage project so he can work on it over Easter break. Nanaw forgot to take pictures of Chase so Mama took one for her.
