Chase had his first two baseball games Saturday morning in a tournament. He scored a run and also pitched an inning. Unfortunately, the team lost both games. They have another tournament game on Sunday at 12:30. Nanaw went to visit Chase in the afternoon and asked if he had fun at the games and he said yes. Nanaw brought along some materials for his Heritage project, and they talked about it. For Monday, Nanaw is going to give him some information about his great great great grandfather Peter Adam Dreisewerd so he can do some research in class on his Chromebook. He'll research the town in Germany (Neuenkirchen, Westphalia, Germany) that Peter emigrated from, and also the Admiral steamship that brought him to Baltimore from Bremen. Jackson Chapman and his mom and dad came over to drop off Chase's birthday and Christmas presents. Jackson and Chase played outside on the trampoline for awhile. Chase's presents were a Target gift card and an excavation kit. Mama got a little baker thing to make homemade dog treats in.
