On Friday morning, Mama texted Nanaw to tell her that Chase was sick to his stomach and wouldn't be going to school. Chase came over to Nanaw's house and brought his tablet and only three stuffed animals: Tee Tee, Lars and Creeper. Mama brought soup, crackers, and white soda -- all good things for an upset stomach and the same things Nanaw gave to Mama and Uncle Mike when they were little and sick. Chase spent most of the day on Pawpaw's bed with his tablet. He didn't play on the computer at all, and Nanaw figured out later that it was because he needed to be laying down. In the afternoon, they watched Toy Story 4, and it was as good a movie as it's ever been. Nanaw hadn't realized that Forky was such a big part of the movie. In the evening, Mama reported to Nanaw that Chase had eaten and kept down six crackers. She was hopeful that Chase would be able to play in his noon hockey game on Saturday. Lots of family members were planning to come watch the game: Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky, Uncle Chris and Elias, and Uncle Will-Bill.
