The first picture below is of Chase batting in last night's baseball game. One of the moms took a picture of each boy at bat. Unfortunately, Chase's team lost the game, 9 to 7. But Mama said they played really well. Chase had only a small amount of homework. Nanaw brought the list from Homework Central, and Chase had what he needed. He finished his math homework (converting improper fractions into mixed numbers). Nanaw checked his work (20 problems), and he got all the answers right but his writing was bad so Nanaw had him fix the numbers that were illegible. Next, he studied for a test in English about adjectives, demonstratives (this, that, these, those), articles (a, an, the), and comparisons (when to add er and when to add est). Chase and Nanaw went over the material three times, and he seemed to know. Nanaw asked Mama to go over again in the evening after Chase's hockey practice if they had time. He had his first four-on-four hockey practice, and a couple of his friends from his hockey team were on his new team.
