Chase had a busy day today. He played in a baseball tournament in O'Fallon, Illinois, with the first game at 8:30. The weather was awful, Mama said -- cold and windy. They lost the first game and the coach forfeited the second game because the boys were so miserable in the weather. In the afternoon, he had hockey evaluations. He has another set of hockey evaluations tomorrow, along with another baseball game in the tournament. Nanaw came over to visit after Chase got back from the hockey evaluation. Chase and Nanaw played a game of War, and Chase won. Then they played the new card game Chase learned, Trash Can, with Mama. Chase won two games, and Mama won one. Then Mama and Nanaw played, and Nanaw won -- Yay! Chase and Nanaw played hockey and football with the stuffed animals. Chase wanted to rollerblade in the garage and have Nanaw watch but Mama had brought Subway home for dinner so Nanaw said maybe Chase could do it tomorrow when she came to visit. Nanaw was sorry she forgot to play an April Fool's trick on Chase but Mama texted that on the ride home from the hockey eval, Daddy told Chase he forgot his skates. Then Daddy said, "April Fool!"
